Glorious sea views and just a stone's throw from the beach, this stylish and comfortably refurbished end of terrace 19th century coastguard's cottage is full of Whitstable coastal charm.
Still retaining the original coastguard's 'look out' the cottage also benefits from parking for 2 cars and has an enclosed courtyard with picnic table shaded by a grape vine. In front of the cottage the old parade ground is now 5 tennis courts bookable for use at the corner shop. A few rackets and tennis balls are available for guests' use at the cottage as is a kayak.
Famed for its oysters, Whitstable boasts many restuarants and the North Kent coast offers plenty to explore all year round, with the cathedral city of Canterbury only 8 miles away. The historic harbour is still active and incorperates a renowned daily fish market. Harbour Street has many art galleries and artisan shops.
